She was the headteacher of a large London primary school before becoming one of Her Majesty\u2019s Inspectors of Schools in England in 2003.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her memoir Coconut, an Amazon Best Seller, was published in 2021. Now semi-retired, when she\u2019s not writing, Florence manages her education consultancy firm.
