Kukogho Iruesiri Samson is an award-winning Nigerian writer, publisher, and communications professional with over a decade of experience in the creative arts. He is the author of the acclaimed novel Devil’s Pawn (2020) and four poetry collections, including What Can Words Do and We Who Sowed Hurt & Beaded Pains.
A recipient of the GT Bank Dusty Manuscript Prize and the ANA Prize for Fiction amongst others, Kukogho is the founder of Words Rhymes & Rhythm (WRR) and the editor-in-chief of CỌ́N-SCÌÒ Magazine. Currently based in Hatfield, United Kingdom as a Global Talent, he is working on a novel inspired by African mysticism. He is also currently focusing on rediscovering the art of photography and building Transitus, a UK-based literary magazine dedicated to platforming and amplifying the unique voices of the diaspora.
